Steve Dean paints up classic 15mm Tabletop Dungeon Party

Earlier this month I put up a short article about the fine figure painter Steve Dean and his work on our HOT104 Anti-Paladins, which you can see on our blog HERE if you missed it. I have two more images on file here from last year that slipped my notice which are also by Mr Dean so I thought I would share these with you now as they are really good. Steve Dean has worked his magic on a selection of the Tabletop Humans taken from codes 501, 505 and 510. All of these can be had as single miniatures from our pages or as packs. 566 Rhinosaur with Howdah 

This pack contains one 15mm scale creature in resin supplied into two pieces those being the monster and the howdah. The creature is 70mm long from the tip of its nose to the tip of its tail and is wrapped in chains with the howdah mount on its back. The howdah is 20mm wide and 30mm long with space within for several 15mm scale miniatures. When put together this model is 40mm tall to top of howdah. Suitable for use with evil armies including Chaotic and Lizardmen. Classic Tabletop and HOT monsters withdrawn for now

A quick bulletin from the team here at 15mm.co.uk to let all you 15mm fantasy wargaming fans out there know about our plan for September 2016.  We have withdrawn some classic Tabletop Miniatures and HOT Fantasy monsters from our ranges for now with the intention of returning them to the ranges after a change.  The change...they will be in resin!  

Yes.  We have taken the decision to put several monsters into resin and we will be re-releasing them in the middle of September 2016 with a special offer which will last two weeks until the end of the month.  We have make this decision for several reasons including ease of assembly for the larger monster kits and weight too.  It also means we will be able to keep the pricing the same and even reduce the price on several of them.  Cool!  Here is the list of codes removed for this rejuvenation.

Lastly a kit which has been out of production and off our website for two entire years!  The mighty HOT37 Destroyer of Hope Grand Dragon which is by far the largest monster in the range and makes a superb centre piece. Sam Croes set of HOB1 15mm Human Starter Settlement Buildings

It gives me a frankly awesome amount of happiness to be able to show you all our own set of the fantastic 15mm Human Fantasy Buildings from our range painted by their designer Sam Croes.  Sam is our lead designer and while he sculpted the HOB1 Human Starter Settlement for 15mm.co.uk earlier this year it is only now that he has had time to paint up a set for our use.  In these images you can see the five buildings, which you can get in a set or as singles, three houses and two hovels great for any 15mm fantasy setting on our wargaming table.  Each image has a caption and the miniatures you can see are all from the FST03 MDA Human Skirmish Pack.  Enjoy!

Matt Haslam paints up Asgard 15mm Dwarves

Ahead of the approaching monolith that is the 200^th Anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo and 15mm.co.uk's re-release of the classic Tabletop Games 15mm Napoleonic range under the 'Brickdust' name we have a video to present to you. Keen hobbyist Matt Haslam has a new video channel on Youtube where he is painting and building up his forces for 15mm fantasy wargaming.

He has added some packs of 15mm Asgard classic Dwarves to his collection and in this video he talks about preparing them for use in his games.

A large and less crudely assembled tent like structure covered in layers of animal (and other things!) skins. An open hole lets smoke out from cooking fires and two large tusks and a skull frame the doorway along with some rocks and human skulls. This building is 70mm wide, 40mm deep and 30mm tall.

HOB2E Orc Stone Idol

This 15mm scale one piece highly detailed resin structure that requires no assembly. Suitable for any Orc campaign in a fantasy wargaming world it depicts a crudely carved stone idol decorated with human skulls and with the upper body and face of an Orcish minor deity. The idol is 40mm wide, 30mm deep and 70mm tall.

These buildings were designed and sculpted by Sam Croes and as well as being superb for wargaming they are also beautiful objects in their own right. They are unlike anything I have seen in wargaming and just call out for painting and your affection. Perfect for HOTT or for SoBaH or Mighty Armies or any other 15mm fantasy wargame system.

15mm Human Buildings painted up on Stephane's Blog!

There are a lot of our HOB01 Human Starter Settlement buildings out there across the world and I was recently sent an image by Stephane of his set all painted up for use in his wargaming.  Stephane is a big fan of 15mm.co.uk and uses a lot of our miniatures as well as the buildings.  As you can see in the picture he has gone for a really nice blue tint on the roof slates and bright straw for the hovel roofs giving his buildings a stand out appearance.  In front of the buildings are some of his 15mm fantasy miniatures which are taken from the Tabletop Fantasy Range of characters.  You can learn more about his wargaming on Stephane's Blog including posts on these buildings and much more; he is an interesting guy!
