Classic Tabletop and HOT monsters withdrawn for now

A quick bulletin from the team here at 15mm.co.uk to let all you 15mm fantasy wargaming fans out there know about our plan for September 2016.  We have withdrawn some classic Tabletop Miniatures and HOT Fantasy monsters from our ranges for now with the intention of returning them to the ranges after a change.  The change...they will be in resin!  

Yes.  We have taken the decision to put several monsters into resin and we will be re-releasing them in the middle of September 2016 with a special offer which will last two weeks until the end of the month.  We have make this decision for several reasons including ease of assembly for the larger monster kits and weight too.  It also means we will be able to keep the pricing the same and even reduce the price on several of them.  Cool!  Here is the list of codes removed for this rejuvenation.

Two classic codes from the very dawn of modern wargaming which pre-date Citadel and are from the earliest of the 1980's.  The Rhinosaur is a monster in its own right and it is also a war beast for use with Lizardmen or other evil troops.  These monsters were white metal and will now be resin and reduced in price.

Four codes from the earlier part of the huge HOT 15mm Fantasy Range which now has more than one hundred different packs.  The classic HOT7 Giant which is a perennial favourite in HOTT and other armies all over the place.  After going out of production the HOT30 War Elephant and HOT31 War Mammoth will now be resin and reduced in price and both come as a kit including a small howdah into which a character or general can be put. Lastly a kit which has been out of production and off our website for two entire years!  The mighty HOT37 Destroyer of Hope Grand Dragon which is by far the largest monster in the range and makes a superb centre piece. It will now be in resin rather than metal and will be know as the 'Destroyer' rather than the 'Swallower' as it used to be known (we have made a few changes so it is, unlike the others, a new model).

We will post up the re-release and the special offer in about two weeks time.  We are making the molds now.....

SHMP24 Denizens of the Galaxy IV

SHM84 Phase 2 Biomorph 

One 15mm scale white metal miniature. Gene Splicers have a lot to answer for and top of the list is the late 23rd century creation of Biomorphs. Assembled from the DNA of several species and speed grown in vats the Biomorphs were seeded into conflict zones where they could exist for years easily. Often sprouting faces and ever changing teeth and eyes Biomorphs can sneak up or even drop from ceilings with deadly intent.  This is a large miniature about 30mm long follows up on SHM53 Biomorph. SHM85 Stovan Servitor 

One 15mm scale white metal miniature. Stovan used to be a byword for peace and harmony but no longer.  The entire Stovan race was fungal captured by the Kilthreen in a planet wide invasion turning them into servitors.  These servitors were then sold to the highest bidder across the galactic plane.  Large, solid and long lived a Stovan Servitor can be a real if tragic asset.  This miniature is 25mm tall. SHM86 Sand Dipper

One 15mm scale white metal miniature.  The Sand Dipper is a common sight on hot inner system planets across the core having been seeded by colonists centuries ago.  It is a hard carapace creature expert in digging and with excellent night sight. SHM87 Thorn Crawler

One 15mm scale white metal miniature.  Do not be made unwary by the small size of the Thorn Crawler for it is a lethal predator.  Virtually every cell in its body is poisonous to all known carbon based life.  This has cost countless lives and generally Thorn Crawlers are shot when seen and then burned for even handling them can result in a fatal exposure to poison. Wasteland Raiders, Rad Zombies and Road Wardens released by Loud Ninja Games

Tiny Outpost blog paints up the Collective Mind Monster

Neal Key is a keen wargamer who has recently placed his virtual toe into the realm of blogging. As a fan of our miniatures and centrally the excellent SHM Range where new designers get to show off their weird and wonderful ideas and talent he has thus far only a handful of posts on his blog. Produced and sold across the world by 15mm.co.uk the Loud Ninja Games range continues to go from strength to strength and now adds two more unique styled codes to the 15mm Wasteland Mutants part of the range.  These are the last releases for LNG in 2015. This pack contains one 15mm scale white metal multiple part miniature.  The Terrorclops is a monster, a mutant, a killer and a radiation beast that will give your force some kick.  Thickly muscled with one staring eye and an arm that ends with a bone spear the Terrorclops is covered in bony protrusions and buboes as well as weeping wounds but it is the open ragged toothed maw of its stomach that causes true fear.  This massive mutant will crush you and then eat you!  Cast in white metal and supplied in two pieces this model requires assembly and stands 37mm tall from sole of foot to top of raised arm.  Useful in 28mm scale too.  Go HERE.

This pack contains one 15mm scale white metal miniature.  The Wasteland Buddies are two lifeforms that have teamed up to survive the rad lands and the mutant cannibals that want to make each of them dinner.  Virtually mindless but brutally strong Buster provides the muscle and the motive power wielding a rock tipped club while Mister sits on  his shoulders tiny but smart wearing a mask and holding a long barrel rifle.  On their backs are many packs and items useful for trade and survival.  Cast in white metal and supplied in one piece this model requires no assembly and stands 24mm tall from sole of foot to top of head.  Go HERE.

Seasonal Festive Range returns in December 2015 with a new pack!

Those of you who are long term customers of 15mm.co.uk will know what while our sister brands have their own ideas of Christmas and the season of goodwill (Cryptmass on Valon anyone?) we have a treat for wargamers that is only online for a month or so each year.  The Seasonal Festive Range (SN codes) will return at the start of December 2015 and remain until early January of the new year on our Deals and Offers page.  We are adding another new pack and a value composite pack to what we already have.  So joining SN01 Evil Snowmen and SN02 Killer Xmas Trees will be...SN03 Abominable Snow Monsters!

This short article shows you pictures of Sam Croes sculpts for the two poses that will be in this new pack.  From the front, from the back and from the sides.  Why from the side?  Because of something extra cool!  Every pack comes with a sprue of two little Christmas Hats which you can place on the angry noggin of the Snow Monster or leave off.  Full details upon release but there are two one piece poses in white metal with each standing about 40mm tall.
