HOT32 The Sphinx now re-mastered and on offer!

"Which creature has one voice and yet becomes 

four footed and two footed and then three footed?"

We are working our way through the hundred pack strong HOT 15mm Fantasy Range re-molding and re-mastering (and adding to but more on that next week, see HERE for a hint to what is coming) and this time we have completed work on one of the lesser known monsters in the range HOT32 The Sphinx.  Its now back on the website looking excellent and on offer too save 20% until end of the month.  See it HERE.  Above is a censored image since this monster is rather naughty for social media use once painted up however the normal images are below and on the website.

The Sphinx is a great monster to add to your collection.  Our one is based on the Greek Myths with the upper body of a woman, the wings of an eagle, lower feathered body of a lion and a serpent like barbed tail.  Chaotic by alignment but bound by the unbreakable rule that it must ask a riddle of its intended victim before devouring them if they answer incorrectly the Sphinx is a guardian for your temples of the dead or treasure crypts.

Above you can see HOT32 The Sphinx with a 15mm tall miniature from the FST02 TTF Human Skirmish Pack for scale.  Assembled the monster stands about 35mm tall and is supplied unpainted in three white metal pieces (body and two wings).  Assembly is required.

No prizes for solving these two ancient riddles but at least if you are captured by the beast you will be safe.  If you have a hero..you need a Sphinx!

15mm Human Buildings painted up on Stephane's Blog!

There are a lot of our HOB01 Human Starter Settlement buildings out there across the world and I was recently sent an image by Stephane of his set all painted up for use in his wargaming.  Stephane is a big fan of 15mm.co.uk and uses a lot of our miniatures as well as the buildings.  As you can see in the picture he has gone for a really nice blue tint on the roof slates and bright straw for the hovel roofs giving his buildings a stand out appearance.  In front of the buildings are some of his 15mm fantasy miniatures which are taken from the Tabletop Fantasy Range of characters.  You can learn more about his wargaming on Stephane's Blog including posts on these buildings and much more; he is an interesting guy!
