HOF Fire-Team book and battleboards now a paid for digital download!

Thanks for taking the time to come to this article for this is a first for 15mm.co.uk on its own website. HOF Fire Team the grid based tech level alterable 15mm skirmish system wargame rules for science fiction are now a paid for digital download. No longer in print it is excellent value containing the book, the book covers and a twenty page set of all the battle boards and scenic items on grids as well as a page of blank grids too. All for 8.00GBP. It works with any 15mm miniatures from present day to far future and contains generic generation rules as well as three backgrounds with stats. The Prydian Civil War, the Pan Galactic Empire and the teeming Argo cities of a near tomorrow. We will be releasing other titles out of print and in print as digital downloads in coming weeks including USEME and Alien Squad Leader 2.0 as well as Age of Might and Steel. The process of purchasing a digital download from the website is straight forward and works as follows. Any product which has the digital downloads sticker on it is purchased as normal into the shopping cart and then through to checkout. During checkout and once purchase is made your will get an order number and a receipt. If your order contains any digital downloads there will be a box displayed on the screen where your digital book will appear once it is loaded in (this can take a minute or so for large files) with a button to click to download it. You will also get the download link in your email as well.

HOF Fire-Team is an original dynamic tactical game with a setting from ultra modern to the far future. Fire Team pits squads of soldiers, guerrillas, police, and thieves or just about anyone else with a grudge against one another. Use miniatures from your existing collection, on single bases, or add any new ones of your choice. Players command a number of Teams. These being Fire Teams, Support Teams, Command Teams and trusting to sound small unit tactics and the luck of the dice they attempt to carry out their mission objectives. HOF Fire-Team is played on 'Battle Boards' de-marked into a 20mm squared grid. These set squares allow for easy and instant measurement of game distances for movement and weapons fire along with the relation between every miniature in play and possible cover. Play is easy and lethal. Using a unique D6 mechanic based on the Firefight 2.0 engine combined with an innovative 'tech level' for all troops and the 'waypoint' mission driver this game promises fast and intense action in a compact playing area. Play in a place of your choosing even if it is too small for other ‘open terrain’ wargames. September was a great month for 15mm.co.uk and as we now turn towards the autumn (I think its autumn but no one in Scotland ever sees the sun so who knows!) we are re-releasing the last two codes of our resurrection of 15mm monsters back into the HOT 15mm Fantasy range. The HOT 15mm Fantasy Range contains other Dragons of vary size and use and price points and all of them are different. Big Hovel 15mm Fantasy building painted by Steve Dean

When a man gets an eye on a home he likes he often does his best to get his feet in the door and then decides to give it a lick of paint to suit his own tastes. A few days ago master of the paint brush Steve Dean whose work we showed earlier this month on our Tabletop Dungeon Party and our Anti-Paladins turned his attention to our HOB1B Big Hovel from the 15mm Human Settlement building range. Ain't it just lovely! Great work Steve. 

The HOB Range of 15mm Fantasy buildings currently has five different Human buildings and five different Orc buildings which are great for HOTT, AoMaS or any other fantasy system to go with your army as objectives or targets.

Following on from our classic monster re-released Rhinosaurs last week for Tabletop we are proud now to give you our last releases for the month. Steve Dean paints up classic 15mm Tabletop Dungeon Party

Earlier this month I put up a short article about the fine figure painter Steve Dean and his work on our HOT104 Anti-Paladins, which you can see on our blog HERE if you missed it. I have two more images on file here from last year that slipped my notice which are also by Mr Dean so I thought I would share these with you now as they are really good. The classic 15mm Tabletop fantasy range has a lot of miniatures and monsters among its codes and while we have not as yet completed the re-release of all of them we have the majority of the codes online. Among the most popular are the Humans which include twenty five different poses all well suited to Dungeon Quest, RPG and character driven skirmish. Steve Dean paints up HOT104 Anti-Paladins

That master of the fine brush Mr Steve Dean has painted up miniatures from one of 15mm.co.uk's newest packs in the HOT 15mm Fantasy range those being the Anti-Paladins warriors of the dark or evil overlords. He does fantastic work and you can see the original images on his website HERE. Read on for more or go HERE to see HOT104 on our website. 

I have also put up the single figure images taken from Steve's excellent website. Here they are: 

"We rode north as one. A thousand Men sworn by the mother church to defend the lands against the darkness and perversion that threatened us. Little did we know that the darkness lingers not deep from the surface in some Men. As we rode the voices whispers and shadows lucked in the forests and soon one then another and another fell away until when we came to the snow line there were but four hundred left and we had seen no foe. It was then our faith was splintered as ahead we saw our brother knights but they were not as they had been. Twisted and filled with the bane of life they were now of the darkness. Evil is all the more when once it was good."
