"Between the realms of life and of death there are places in which the carrion lords of the damned reside. Of these Attor the Ghoul Dragon is most deadly...."
Its been a fun week waiting for today but now is the time. HOT100 Ghoul Dragon, named Attor by all of us here at 15mm.co.uk, is now released! Not only is the Ghoul Dragon our first miniature as a result of the customer requests 'Monster Survey' earlier this year but its also going to be the one hundredth code in the HOT range. As a result of this we are going to celebrate by placing this new monster at half price, yes 50% off, its full price on our website. Awesome offer!
This code is offered to you at 50% off its regular price until 31st July 2015! Its normal price will be 10.00GBP and during this period it is online for 5.00GBP. Add it to your collection and at this price why not have two or three for your horde. Go HERE.
As a result of the February 2015 'Monster Survey' and as our one hundredth code in the HOT Range of 15mm scale Fantasy Miniatures we present The Ghoul Dragon. One of the top three most voted for monsters this gaunt and fearsome creature is made of white metal and supplied unpainted and unassembled in three pieces. Perfect for use in any generic or specific fantasy setting as an Undead monster or a vicious foe as part of an army aligned to evil. But of course with a different paint scheme it could also be a Dark Elvish creature or anything else you choose. Go HERE.

LOL the Ghoul Dragon is amazing! I can tell he's styled after Count Orlok from Nosferatu, hes even doing what I think of as the " "Nosferatu walk" ;) Very nice work, its tough to make yet... another... dragon... figure stand out, but this one definitely does.
ReplyDeleteThanks. We were given a tall order with this one in the Monster Survey and as far as I know its the only Ghoul Dragon there is in 15mm scale or any scale. We went with..not quite Undead but creepy and vicious...hint of vampire. That worked! I would be keen to see what your paint brush did on it as other colours I think would radically change its look. DeleteI'll definitely keep this guy in mind the next time I order from you :) I have to say I've completed a surprising amount of my last order, given my usual dismal ratio of painted:leadpile... I might disappoint you though, I think this colour scheme is perfect and I'd be tempted to closely duplicate it :)
DeleteGood stuff. I have been watching you paint on the blog the last couple of weeks, good progress. I would be impressed if you duplicated it actually since it took us three attempts to get it close. I think it would suit a shades of blue with red look personally. A sort of ice ghoul. GBS
DeleteI am so glad you went the design route you did with this. There are enough partially rotted corpse dragons and other undead out there, as well as skeletons, but very few creepy, slinky evil like this.
DeleteThanks Dave. As far as I know its a unique creature in the scale and generally. Its a Ghoul. Necrotic but not Zombie or Bone. Wargamers asked and we delivered. We may well do another Undead theme Dragon but not for a while.

And I have found the villain for the convention game I am running in November. This is the perfect piece. Vikings against a dragon worshiping cult. I needed a dragon that looked corrupt, foul, and ghoulish, rather than the usual buff and muscular. You delivered in spades!
ReplyDeleteThanks Dave, very kind of you to say. I hope you win on the day!
